From Friday 13 November to Sunday 15 November 2026, dancers, teachers, schools, teams, and performers from Greece and abroad will gather in Kalamata for a dynamic weekend dedicated to DanceSport, contemporary movement, ballet, and urban dance culture.
KDC 2026 opens with a full day of specialized workshops and educational seminars, designed to help dancers refine their technique, expand their artistry, and prepare for the competition weekend ahead. Saturday is devoted to the world of DanceSport, featuring Latin and Ballroom Standard competitions for solo dancers and teams. Athletes will take the floor to showcase technique, musicality, style, performance quality, and competitive spirit in an electrifying atmosphere that reflects the prestige and energy of the Kalamata Dance Cup.
Saturday is devoted to the world of Traditional Greek dancers, featuring Zeimbekiko and Oriental for solo dancers and teams. Athletes will take the floor to showcase technique, musicality, style, performance quality, and competitive spirit in an electrifying atmosphere that reflects the prestige and energy of the Kalamata Dance Cup.
The festival concludes with a powerful celebration of movement and creativity through Contemporary, Ballet, and Street Dance categories.
