Category Merger & Classification Matrix

Internal KDC Competition Classifications & Category Merger Rules (Articles 4 & 17)

Level A Classification ADVANCED / PRE-CHAMPIONSHIP

Intended for competitors with substantial training and competitive experience who are actively progressing toward championship-level competition.

  • • Internal KDC classification (not an international license).
  • • Bridges development dancers to elite divisions.
Level S Classification CHAMPIONSHIP / ELITE

For competitors participating at the highest KDC championship level across DanceSport, Open Dance, and Choreographic divisions.

  • • Highest internal performance tier at Kalamata Dance Cup.
  • • Requires full compliance with category technical limits.
